Hope everyone is doing well and had a great weekend.
It’s Monday and I know it is going to be a tiring day for most of you. Let me recommend you a body scrub to pamper you today in your bath. I present to you Mark & Spencer Nature’s Extracts Fresh Aloe Vera Exfoliating Body Scrub. I bought it in a recent shopping haul (click here) last month and have been experimenting with it since then.
Aloe Vera is one of my most favorite scents so any product with aloe vera automatically attarcts me. But what drew me in of this body scrub was the pretty packaging. It comes in a 250 ml tube of pale green or like I say aloe vera green. It has a lovely print of aloe vera on the front. It’s a see-through bottle and you can see the scrub and granules in it which kind of look really nice. I opened the bottle to smell it and BAM that was the magical moment. It smelled SOOOOO good and extremely fresh like it was just made. I couldn’t keep it down and knew I had to buy it. I tried it that very night.
The scrub is the same color as the packaging and its granules are the usual black and brown. You require a really small amount, coin sized at most, of the product to cover a leg. It spreads really well and lathers too. You can scrub it around your body for as much time as you want because if doesn’t dry off too quickly. Once you’re done, shower it off and you will be left with smooth, soft and silky skin, and you will feel so very light like you’re floating on a cloud in the skies. (My imagination is running wild here) Also, your skin will feel so refreshed that it will automatically lift your mood if you are feeling down so don’t forget to use it when you’re having a bad day and add it to your pamper routine.
It has a liquid like consistency. You have to be careful with that. I once opened the bottle with the opening side down and it came rushing out.
I was never bothered with body scrubs before and thought they were a pointless product but during one of my beauty researches I read quite a lot of posts explaining how important it is to scrub you body as they collect dead cells too. I have a patch of rough skin down my cleavage and I had no idea why it was there. After reading those importance-of-body-scrubbing posts I realized why. DEAD CELLS. I used this scrub on that area and I would say it didn’t make the rough patch go away but it did smooth down the area which is the next best thing that could happen.
Highly recommending Nature’s Extracts Aloe Vera Exfoliating Body Scrub. They have another one in the smell Coconut and I am not a coconut liker but I smelled it and LOVED it. It wasn’t the kind of coconuty that gives you a head or makes you cringe your nose. It was such a pleasant smell that I am sure I am going back to MS soon to buy it.
It was for RO 2.5 which I think is such a great price for such a good Body Scrub. I got mine from City Center Seeb Marks & Spencer. It was on the first floor (ladies clothing section) in the Beauty Department.
Till Next time,
Love yourself – often and enough!
