A Thoughtful Gift – One Direction Related

Hiee guys!!

While I was blogging about Search Engine Strangeness Tag a few days back, I went through some old posts and read how I had mentioned to write about something which I later forgot. (As expected) So starting from today I will be blogging about those forgotten things. 🙂

The first forgotten one I am going to write about was mentioned in my Goodbye 2013 post regarding British Invasion in my life.

I met a friend a few days before New Year. He called me up and said let’s go to college quickly and then grab a coffee. It was quite out of ordinary as this semester we hardly hung out. So, I got ready, he came to get me and once in the car, after a bit, he opened his arm rest compartment and brought this little cute Claire’s bag out and said, ‘This is something I got for you. I was just crossing Claire’s, saw this and knew perfectly well you would love to have it.’ I was taken by surprise. We have been college mates for one and a half year now but we never exchanged gifts or stuff. We would often pay for each other’s tab while we eat out but never gifting each other in a proper manner.

When I opened the bag, I found a pretty necklace with ‘One Thing’ pendent on it and two cute ‘One Thing’ word combined rings. I was dumbstruck. I love One Direction and someone gifting me anything related to 1D is a big thing for me. It just shows how well they know you and considerate about your choices, likes and dislikes. I was overwhelmed and thanked him so profusely he asked me to shut up. 😛 Hehe.

We had a good time that day after really long. We actually hardly got to see each other much this semester but that day was fun, yeah. We would keep asking ‘so what’s the new year’s eve plan’ mischievously because knowing each other we were pretty sure both off us would either be off to bed by 11pm or with family.

I think sometimes people have the ability to amaze/shock you when you least expect it.

PS. We share a very platonic relationship and because I act very tomboyish he calls me his bro and not sister.
